Rest Assured Foundation of Virginia is a nonprofit organization committed to addressing homelessness in Virginia. In January of 2026, in partnership with the City of Suffolk, we opened the doors to The Western Tidewater Homeless shelter.
The Western Tidewater Homeless Shelter
The Western Tidewater Homeless Shelter is a 37-bed newly renovated homeless shelter in Suffolk, VA supporting adults experiencing homelessness. At RAFVA we practice trauma-informed, person-centered care by meeting our guests where they are in their journeys and offering support in meeting their goals.
